An electric motor is almost never selected "by name": what matters is power, synchronous speed, mounting arrangement, overall and mounting dimensions, degree of protection, insulation class and duty type. We ask for the nameplate or these parameters — and find an item that will fit in place of the existing one.
A separate frequent task: the motor is discontinued, but replacing the whole unit is uneconomical. In that case we select a modern equivalent and, before purchase, check mounting dimensions and electrical parameters so the replacement does not require reworking the frame or coupling.
